Sailing

Vikings were raiders and settlers, and their longships became the fear of the Early Medieval world.

Regia Anglorum boasts a fleet of Viking longships which are frequently brought to shows and sailing trainings. No experience is required to crew one of our vessels and there are yearly private events for members to learn and experience being aboard one of these beautiful ships.

Our society has many aspects, from crafting to fighting. Every year we have a few opportunities to take our viking longship, The Bear, out for a sail. With our strong maritime team new members pick up the aspect of sailing fairly quickly, all we would need is some stronger wind!
